Collaborative Project Self-Assesment
Writing an essay with a group required an amount of collaborative coordination that I was unused to. It was important that our separate sections were able to be combined into one cohesive product at the end, despite us discussing three different sub-topics. This required frequent check-ins during our individual writing process, along with corrections being made at the end to tie all of our work together. This all allowed me to work on the course objective “develop and engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes”. I was able to develop a bond with my group mates that allowed us to have smooth check-ins and consistently get our work done together. On each assignment, we fully worked together instead of doing all our work individually and then combining at the end.
